October 08, 2026
The Spring 2027 NBCUniversal Page Program is officially open for applications through October 19.
The NBCUniversal Page Program is a 12-to-16-month, full-time opportunity designed for early career professionals who hold at least a bachelor's degree and have a passion for media. Pages are based in New York, NY, or Universal City, CA, and complete three four-month rotational assignments across NBCUniversal's businesses while serving as ambassadors of the company.
So, what does it actually take to join a program with over 90 years of legacy behind it? Current East Coast and West Coast Pages share their advice on the application process, interviews and how candidates can stand out.
What is the NBCUniversal Page Program?
Pages are based in New York, NY, or Universal City, CA, and complete three four-month rotational assignments across NBCUniversal's businesses while serving as ambassadors of the company.
The program is built as a rotational learning and development experience, equipping participants with the skills, exposure, and professional network needed to launch a career in media. After graduating, Pages enter a four-month Grad Period during which they can apply for internal career opportunities with continued coaching from the Page leadership team and other internal partners.
Current Pages say the opportunity to explore different parts of the business is one of the program's biggest draws.
Ben (East Coast Page): "The Page Program offers a unique experience to learn across many different areas of the company, both with full-time rotations as part of corporate teams but also as an ambassador, where Pages lead guest tours and support audiences for NBC shows and events. This experience allows young professionals an opportunity to be exposed to so many different new things and learn so much in an uplifting, supportive environment that is always there to help you grow.”
The program also gives Pages opportunities to step into unfamiliar situations and learn by doing.
Karen (West Coast Page): "After being a Page for nearly a year, I have grown so much confidence in my capabilities. Pages are really trusted to join teams and do work that they may not be familiar with but strive to make an impact regardless. This program encourages Pages to become resourceful and develop the skills they need to jump into projects, tasks, teams, and fields with ownership and commitment. We get our hands on very real work that makes a difference. It's very rewarding to look back on our accomplishments, knowing that the skills, relationships, and experiences we've gained were through hard work and our dedication to help others."
How do you apply to the NBCUniversal Page Program?
The NBCUniversal Page Program application process begins by submitting an application through the NBCUniversal Careers site.
Keep your resume to one page and highlight the experiences that best represent who you are, including past jobs, internships, relevant coursework, extracurricular involvement and leadership roles, as well as experiences that demonstrate your skills and potential.
The application also includes an optional, but highly encouraged, letter to the hiring manager and personal statement. These provide an opportunity to make a strong first impression and help the selection team understand your interests, goals and what you would bring to the program.
What should you include in your NBCUniversal Page Program personal statement?
Use your personal statement to show who you are beyond the experiences and accomplishments already listed on your resume. Current Pages recommend focusing on your individual story, motivations and the experiences that demonstrate what you could bring to the program.
Daniel (West Coast Page): "I approached my personal statement as an opportunity to showcase who I am beyond my resume. While resumes highlight experiences and accomplishments, the personal statement allows the selection team to understand your personality, values, and motivations. My advice is to focus on telling a story that only you can tell. Share a meaningful experience or anecdote that illustrates your character, demonstrates your passion for entertainment, or highlights qualities that would make you a successful Page. Rather than trying to write what you think the team wants to hear, focus on presenting the best and most genuine version of yourself."
Johnny (West Coast Page): "I tried to give the Page team something they wouldn't have heard anywhere else. Remember, this is the entertainment business. Give them a great pitch. Hook them with your first sentence, be honest about who you are, show how you work with others, and make sure you've answered every part of the prompt."

How should you prepare for the NBCUniversal Page Program video interview?
After the application window closes, selected candidates may be invited on a rolling basis to complete a one-way video interview. Candidates typically have 48 hours to complete the interview and should be prepared to explain why they want to join the Page Program, what they hope to gain from the experience and what they would uniquely contribute.
The team is especially interested in hearing your "why." Specific examples demonstrating how you could add value as a Page from day one can go a long way. Speak naturally rather than reading from a script. The goal is to come across as prepared, confident and genuinely yourself.
Sophia (East Coast Page): "I prepped dozens of common behavioral questions and practiced speaking them out loud in front of my computer using the STAR method, as though it was a real video interview. Saying my answers out loud instead of just writing them made a world of difference. I also practiced many questions in different time constraints, like 90 seconds, 60 seconds, and 30 seconds, so I wouldn't be too thrown off if it was more or less time than I expected. For the panel interview, I did a bunch of research into NBCUniversal as a company, their values, recent news, and really thought about key reasons why I loved the content they've made that I grew up watching. Additionally, I started following all NBCUniversal pages on social media, plus started binging Peacock, so I was constantly consuming their content."
What happens during the NBCUniversal Page Program final interview?
Candidates who advance to the final round will participate in a virtual panel-style group interview lasting approximately three hours alongside eight to 12 other candidates.
The session includes answering questions in front of the group, small breakout activities, and a more in-depth one-on-one interview. Candidates are given several dates and times to choose from when scheduling.
While preparation and genuine enthusiasm for NBCUniversal are important, the team does not quiz candidates on company history. Candidates should be mindful of potentially outdated or inaccurate information about the recruiting process online and focus your research on vetted NBCUniversal sources.
Cara (East Coast Page): "The most surprising thing about the final panel was that it felt very collaborative. Other candidates want you to succeed as much as you want yourself to succeed. It was very nerve-wracking to prepare for a three-hour interview, but the cadence of the interview felt very digestible and more like a group project meeting than an interview. I was also surprised by how comfortable it felt to make mistakes. I misunderstood a question and stumbled through one of my answers, and being given the grace to course-correct and bounce back made me realize that the team truly wants each person to succeed."
What advice do current NBCUniversal Pages have for applicants?
There is no single formula for becoming an NBCUniversal Page. Current participants recommend being yourself, finding creative ways to build relevant experience and remaining open to opportunities that may take you outside your comfort zone.
Meghan (West Coast Page): "I have applied to the Page Program three times, and between each application cycle, I intentionally built upon my experience in the media and entertainment industry. I went to college in Tallahassee, Florida, which was very remote from a lot of professional entertainment opportunities, so I had to get creative. I volunteered at the local film festival, worked on sets within the FSU film school, became a reporter for my school's radio station, and even contributed to a film blog. There are so many creative ways to grow your experience, so take advantage of what is out there!"
Daniela (West Coast Page): "Be yourself! We all bring different qualities, experiences, and stories, and those things are what make each of us unique. Secondly, approach the experience with an open mind. Sometimes the best opportunities come from areas you're not familiar with, and some of the most meaningful growth happens when you step outside of your comfort zone."
Erin (West Coast Page): “Having applied to the program twice, I enjoyed the process much more my second time around when I put less stress and pressure on myself. The less overthinking I did, the more I was able to show up how I wanted to!”
