Education Through Music Partners With NBCUniversal to Create Inspiring 'Wicked: For Good' PSA Promoting Music Education for All Students

Education Through Music (ETM) and NBCUniversal announced today the release of a new Public Service Announcement (PSA) that will air on the networks and digital platforms of Comcast NBCUniversal in donated media inventory ahead of the November 21 theatrical release of Universal Pictures’ Wicked: For Good, the epic conclusion to the global cinematic phenomenon. ETM and NBCUniversal have collaborated on a powerful PSA promoting music education for all students through its signature social impact program, the Creative Impact Lab.

ETM is the premier music education nonprofit that provides music programming as a core component of a school’s curriculum in underserved in locations throughout the United States. The organization's mission aligns with the themes of Wicked and Wicked: For Good, a musical event that encourages all people to reach their fullest potential.

Launched in 2022, the Creative Impact Lab leverages NBCUniversal's storytelling expertise, commissioning nonprofit creative agencies and their storytellers to develop marketing assets that spotlight the missions of other nonprofits. NBCUniversal creative executives volunteer as mentors on these projects, guiding emerging talent during the production process.

ETM believes that every child, at every school, deserves access to high-quality music education as part of the curriculum. Music education is part of a well-rounded core program and essential for students' academic, social, and emotional well-being.
