NBCUniversal Scores 22 Total Golden Globe Nominations

Universal Entertainment earned an impressive 22 total nominations for the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards.

Focus Features earned 10 nominations, led by Hamnet with six nominations, including Best Motion Picture, Drama. In addition, Bugonia received three nominations, including Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy.

Universal Pictures’ Wicked: For Good earned five Golden Globe nominations, including Best Performance nominations for Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. This continues the film’s outstanding run of both critical and commercial success in recent weeks, after being named one of the Top 10 Movies of 2025 by the American Film Institute and crossing $400 million at the global box office.

On the television side, Universal Television Entertainment is celebrating seven total Golden Globe nominations across numerous categories, led by Universal Television’s Hacks earning three nominations, including Best Musical or Comedy Series, its fourth consecutive program nomination, while Peacock and Universal International Studios’ All Her Fault received two nominations. With additional nods for Poker Face and Long Bright River, Peacock brings its tally to four total nominations.
