About Wicked: For Good
As tensions rise across Oz, Glinda and Elphaba must rediscover their bond and confront their intertwined fates. Their friendship—tested, redefined, and ultimately redeemed—holds the power to change themselves and their world, for good.
In theaters Friday, November 21, Wicked: For Good continues the story following the events of Wicked: Part I, as Elphaba—misunderstood and vilified as the “Wicked Witch of the West”—lives in exile within the Ozian forest, fighting to protect voiceless Animals and expose the truth behind The Wizard (Jeff Goldblum).
Meanwhile, in the Emerald City, Glinda (Ariana Grande) has embraced her role as a symbol of goodness, living in luxury under the influence of Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) and preparing to wed Prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey). Her growing remorse over her past choices sets in motion a fateful attempt to reconcile with Elphaba—an effort that tests loyalties, reshapes destinies, and draws the citizens of Oz toward a climactic reckoning.
