Live from London – it’s ‘Saturday Night Live UK’: Premiere Date, Cast, and More

Saturday Night Live UK, the first British adaptation of NBC’s iconic late-night series —now in its 51st season— will debut on Sky and NOW on March 21, streaming next day on Peacock.

Airing live each week, the UK adaptation brings the hallmark unpredictability and energy of SNL, refreshed with a distinctly British sensibility. Every episode features a different guest host and a chart‑topping musical act.

Written, rehearsed, and performed within the same week, every show is taped before a live audience and includes an opening monologue, topical sketches, live music, and a UK take on the iconic Weekend Update.

SNL UK is produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio’s UK production team, as well as Lorne Michael’s Broadway Video. Michaels is executive producing, with James Longman serving as Lead Producer, Liz Clare as Director, and Daran Jonno Johnson as Head Writer.

Who are the hosts of SNL UK?

Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan, and Riz Ahmed have been confirmed as the inaugural hosts of SNL UK, premiering March 21 on Sky and NOW.

Fey will lead the debut episode alongside musical guest Wet Leg, followed by Dornan with Wolf Alice on March 28 and Ahmed with Kasabian on April 4.
