Encouraging everyone to show up as their authentic selves each day ensures that the workplace remains inclusive, allowing team members to demonstrate their passions and provide impeccable service for guests. Learn more about some of the unique roles within Universal Destinations & Experiences below.
Facilities Management
Anita has a unique job as a Manager on the Facilities Management team. Her day-to-day includes choosing furniture, space allocation and design elements for areas around the theme parks.
Since 2022, Anita and her team have played an integral role in designing and planning the new Team Member Administration Building at Universal Epic Universe. This campus building will house departments like Wardrobe, Team Member Dining, AskHR Services, TeamCare, U-Stop and ID Processing.
Anita thinks there’s so much that team members will love about the new building. But her favorite part of this project? “[Seeing] all the teams getting to work closely together to create Epic Universe.”
Merchandise and Retail
Meet Morgan, who started her Universal Orlando team member journey in 2022 as a Merchandise Associate at CityWalk’s Universal Studios Store.
Now, Morgan is a Merchandise Area Trainer at the newly opened Universal Epic Universe Preview Center, where she spends her days building guests’ excitement for the new park.
Universal Creative
Anthony, Senior Show Set Designer, transforms initial sketches into breathtaking 3D realities, ensuring guests are immersed in a world beyond their wildest dreams.
During his seven years at Universal Creative, Anthony brings The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ to life, from sketching scenic sets to leading designs, including a Butterbeer™ cart that captured the hearts of fans in Beijing, to now working on the newest installment, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™ in Epic Universe.
Krista, Associate Interactive Designer for Universal Creative, helped mocked up this elaborate design for King Harold’s Swamp Symphony in DreamWorks Land in a massive warehouse.
Transportation
As a Yacht Captain with Parking and Transportation, Luis has the important task of safely transporting guests between the Universal Orlando Resort hotels and Universal CityWalk – all while putting smiles on their faces.
