On November 15, 1926, NBC made its debut with a four-hour radio broadcast, marking the beginning of a century of storytelling, innovation and shared cultural moments.

Over the past 100 years, NBC has helped shape how audiences experience history, news, sports and entertainment, from groundbreaking broadcasts and defining moments in American history to the shows and personalities that have become part of generations of viewers' lives.

As NBC celebrates its centennial, the milestone honors not only a century of broadcasting firsts, but the lasting role NBC has played in connecting audiences to the moments that matter.
