Peacock’s hit reality series Love Island USA is heating up screens — and not just the big ones. According to first-party data from Peacock, Season 7 has officially become the platform’s most-watched entertainment series on mobile devices, with nearly 30% of viewership happening on phones and tablets. This milestone goes beyond traditional Nielsen ratings, which primarily track television screen usage.

Fans are more engaged than ever, with more than a quarter of mobile viewers participating in the interactive Love Island Prediction Game, showcasing just how invested the audience has become. In a special twist, a recent edition of Reality Picks challenged fans to prove their island expertise with an interactive quiz on the season so far, with answers revealed just before the episode of Aftersun. Themed mini-games are also available to help fans get into the islander mindset as a new week begins in the villa.

Love Island mobile games

The Love Island USA app has emerged as a key driver of this interactive experience — and is breaking records of its own. Tuesday night’s fan vote set a new series record, with the app receiving over 1 million votes in just the first six minutes, according to internal data. By the end of the 2.5-hour voting window, more than 3.5 million unique users had cast their votes. Unlike other competition series that offer voting via text, websites, and other platforms, the Love Island USA app remains the exclusive way to weigh in, giving fans a unique, immersive experience.

Since relaunching in May ahead of Season 7, the app has averaged more than 100,000 new unique users per day — and those numbers continue to climb. Since Tuesday night alone, the app has added over 1 million new users and, as of publication, has surpassed 5.5 million unique users in total. Beyond voting, the app offers quizzes, games, and other interactive opportunities to keep fans engaged between episodes.
