‘TODAY’ and Citi Announce the 2021 Summer Music Series Lineup

Headliners for the 2021 “Citi Music Series on TODAY” Include: Coldplay, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, H.E.R., Maroon 5, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo, Zac Brown Band, Dan + Shay, Mickey Guyton and More

NEW YORK – May 7, 2021 – TODAY will once again bring the biggest names in music to morning TV this summer. The lineup for the 2021 “Citi Music Series on TODAY” was announced this morning:

The bold-name roster for this summer’s music series includes: Coldplay, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, H.E.R., Maroon 5, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo, Zac Brown Band, Dan + Shay, Mickey Guyton and more. The series will feature in-person concerts on Rockefeller Plaza, virtual performances, exclusive interviews with artists, viewer surprises and expanded digital content. The “Citi Music Series on TODAY” kicked off with OneRepublic Thursday, May 6, with a special live concert for frontline nurses.

For all Rockefeller Plaza performances, TODAY will broadcast in compliance with CDC and New York State guidelines and COVID safety precautions. Plaza concerts will be limited to a select audience only. Additionally, due to space limitations, press coverage/photography has been paused until further notice.

For the seventh consecutive year, Citi is the sponsor for the “Citi Music Series on TODAY.” The 2021 summer series schedule-to-date is listed below, with additional performances and interviews to be announced in the coming weeks.
