NBCUniversal's coverage of the Opening Ceremony of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games begins Friday, Feb. 6, live on NBC and streaming on Peacock. The entire Games will be available on Peacock, with daytime coverage on NBC and the primetime show, Primetime in Milan.

The Opening Ceremony broadcast will be hosted by Savannah Guthrie and Terry Gannon, with three‑time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White joining for the Parade of Nations. It was recently announced that Mariah Carey will take the stage during the Opening Ceremony, adding a show-stopping performance to the celebration. Live coverage starts at 12 p.m. ET with primetime coverage at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Leading digital creators will join the celebration as NBCUniversal brings back its Creator Collective program. In partnership with YouTube, Meta, and TikTok, the initiative will deliver behind-the-scenes access, interactive content, and fresh perspectives from Milan and Cortina, bringing audiences closer to the Games than ever before.

Throughout the primetime broadcasts, segments from Stanley Tucci will spotlight culture in northern Italy, and Snoop Dogg returns with on‑site moments across the Games. For real‑time highlights every day, Peacock's Gold Zone, often hosted by Scott Hanson, will bring viewers the biggest live moments from Milan Cortina.
