As NBC approaches its 100th anniversary on November 15, the Paley Center for Media is bringing a century of television history to life with a special exhibition celebrating the network's most memorable shows, groundbreaking moments and cultural impact.

Spanning three floors of The Paley Museum in New York City, the exhibition takes visitors from NBC's beginnings as a radio pioneer through the programs and innovations that have helped shape modern media.

TODAY's Joe Fryer offers a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibition and some of the remarkable pieces on display.

A Century of NBC History, Brought to Life

The exhibition features more than 75 artifacts from NBC programs, including Friends, Seinfeld, The Office, Law & Order, ER, The West Wing, 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live.

Visitors can see original costumes worn by stars including Mariska Hargitay, Steve Carell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Martin Sheen, along with memorable pieces like Joey's layered clothing from Friends and the legendary desk from The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.

Interactive experiences invite fans to sit in a coach's chair from The Voice, explore a recreation of the TODAY set and stand atop an Olympic Games victory podium.

The exhibition also features historic radio displays, archival photography and special screenings that trace NBC's evolution over the past century.

Celebrating 100 Years of NBC

The exhibition is part of NBC's centennial celebration, recognizing the stories, talent and innovations that have connected generations of audiences and helped shape entertainment, news and sports.

The celebration continues Thursday, December 10, with a live, three-hour primetime special on NBC from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, honoring a century of iconic stars, groundbreaking moments and unforgettable television.
