NBCUniversal Serves Up Thanksgiving Day Programming Across NBC and Peacock

The holiday season begins with one of America's most cherished traditions – 99th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, airing live on NBC and Peacock Thursday, Nov. 27 at 8:30 a.m. in all time zones. Hosted by TODAY's Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker, the Emmy Award-winning telecast will feature show-stopping performances, larger-than-life character balloons, dazzling floats, and the traditional arrival of Santa Claus. The 99th Macy's Parade lineup will feature more than 5,000 volunteers, 32 balloons, 3 balloonicles, 27 floats, 4 specialty units, 33 clown groups, 11 marching bands performance groups, and music's biggest stars, all turning out to kick off the holiday season.

Wednesday, November 26th

Countdown to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

On Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. ET, NBC and Peacock present Countdown to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, a live primetime special broadcast from the parade's iconic starting line. Viewers will get an exclusive first look at the incredible stories behind the floats, balloons, and bands as they prepare to make their way through the streets of New York City.

Saturday Night Live's annual Thanksgiving special, "An SNL Thanksgiving," airs Thanksgiving Eve at 9 p.m. ET and streams next day on Peacock. The two-hour event serves up iconic Thanksgiving-themed sketches from the show's storied history. Viewers can also get a head start on the holiday laughs with the "An SNL Thanksgiving" playlist on the official Saturday Night Live YouTube channel.

Thursday, November 27th

Watch Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade live on NBC and Peacock

The 99th edition of the Parade airs Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. in all time zones, with an encore telecast at 2 p.m. ET/PT. The broadcast is produced by Universal Television in association with Done + Dusted, with executive producers Katy Mullan and Liz Kelly. A Spanish-language simulcast will air on Telemundo, hosted by Andrea Meza, Aleyda Ortiz, and Clovis Nienow.

This year's Parade includes several NBCUniversal-owned properties featured through floats and balloons, including:

• "Birds of a Feather Stream Together" (Peacock) – Peacock's signature float featuring the platform's vibrant, multi-layered design.
• "Stuart the Minion" (Illumination) – the beloved one-eyed Minion from the Despicable Me and Minions franchise will make an appearance as a giant character balloon.

• "Shrek's Onion Carriage" (DreamWorks Animation) – a new float for this year's Parade, featuring Shrek, Fiona, their triplets, and other familiar characters from Far Far Away aboard the onion carriage.

Tune in to The National Dog Show on NBC and Peacock

Following the Parade, The National Dog Show Presented by Purina airs from 12-2 p.m. ET on NBC, with streaming available on Peacock. Hosted by John O'Hurley and David Frei, the show features over 200 breeds competing for Best in Show and continues NBC's tradition of family-friendly Thanksgiving Day programming.
