President – New Ventures Universal Parks & Resorts

Page Thompson serves as President – New Ventures, Universal Parks & Resorts where he oversees the development of new resorts, experiences, and joint ventures and manages the relationship with Universal’s licensed parks worldwide. From 2013 to 2021 Page was the President and Chief Operating Officer – International, UPR where he oversaw operations at Universal’s parks in Osaka, Japan and Beijing, China (which had its grand opening in September of 2021).

Prior to joining UPR, Page served as EVP, Strategic Integration for NBCUniversal, leading “Symphony” efforts – projects where divisions of NBCUniversal and Comcast joined together to support the top priorities of the combined companies. Prior to that, Page served as President of Golf Channel overseeing programming, production and operations, consumer and affiliate marketing, promotional strategies and new media applications. During Page’s tenure, the network achieved its highest ratings ever and launched its high-definition channel. Page was also instrumental in the network’s successful launch of — the industry leader in online tee times — and the acquisition of 10 additional companies in the online golf space. He also managed relationships with every major golf tour.


Before joining Golf Channel in 2007, Page was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Video Services for Comcast Cable. He was responsible for the Company’s video product and is credited with building Comcast’s industry leading video-on-demand service from conception to a platform that boasted more than 9,000 programs each month and more than 4 billion views from 2004 until the time of his departure. While at Comcast, he co-chaired the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing’s On Demand Consortium.

Earlier in his career, Page held several positions with General Cinema Theatres, where he ran all marketing and communications and served as General Manager of all the non-film, revenue-generating business for the company; and for the Pepsi-Cola Company, where he served in a variety of brand management positions. He also worked in account management for the New York advertising agency Benton & Bowles.

Page earned a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a graduate degree from Harvard Business School. He is married with two children.
