'Love Island USA' Season 8 Becomes Peacock's #1 Most-Streamed Original Season Debut

Love Island USA continues to build on the momentum of its record-breaking seventh season. Since premiering June 2, the first few episodes of Season 8 have generated 824 million minutes viewed, a 74% increase over Season 7, making it Peacock's most-streamed original season ever through its first three days, according to NBCUniversal internal data.

The strong start follows a landmark Season 7, which shattered multiple streaming records and helped Peacock top Nielsen's streaming rankings. 

The show's momentum extends well beyond streaming minutes. Love Island USA delivered the largest mobile viewing share of any Peacock Original launch, with 23% of viewing coming from phones and tablets. It also dominated social conversation, generating more than 43 million video views on premiere day and ranking as the most-social program across television and streaming across Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube.
