Peacock’s hit reality dating show Love Island USA is making waves this summer, ranking as the No. 1 most-watched streaming reality series for the second consecutive week, according to preliminary Nielsen data for the week of June 9. The show’s popularity continues to surge following its Season 7 premiere on June 3.
During the same week, Love Island USA also helped Peacock secure the No. 2 spot among all streaming original programs, underscoring the show’s growing dominance in the reality TV space.
Viewership for the series has skyrocketed, with the premiere episode’s average audience quadrupling since its debut. Monday, June 23 — which marked the launch of the highly anticipated Casa Amor twist — became the season’s most-watched day to date.
Peacock reports that 39% of the Season 7 audience are new viewers, highlighting the show’s expanding fanbase. Additionally, nearly 30% of all viewing has occurred on mobile devices, making it Peacock’s most-watched entertainment series on mobile platforms to date.
The buzz extends far beyond the screen. From June 2 to June 19, Love Island USA generated 54 million social media interactions across Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube. On TikTok alone, Season 7 has amassed over 623 million video views — a 232% increase from the previous season.
With new episodes dropping daily (except Wednesdays), Love Island USA continues to captivate audiences and dominate the conversation across platforms.
