Bravo Receives Astounding Seven Primetime Emmy Award Nominations Across Top Chef and Vanderpump Rules

First-Ever Series Nomination for VANDERPUMP RULES, Which Received Two Nominations for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Picture Editing

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – July 12, 2023 -- Bravo Media earned seven nominations Tuesday morning from the Television Academy, marking the first ever series nomination for “Vanderpump Rules,” which received nods for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Picture Editing.  

“Top Chef” continued its 18th consecutive year of recognition by the Academy with an Outstanding Reality Competition Program nomination for the milestone 20th season. Padma Lakshmi secured her 15th nomination, and third straight nomination for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program. With three other nominations in casting, picture editing and directing, this year’s nods bring the culinary competition series’ Emmy nomination total to 52*.

Both series were recognized for their milestone seasons. “Top Chef” celebrated its 20th season with “World All-Stars” bringing together winners and finalists from “Top Chef” versions around the world to vie for the ultimate title. Lakshmi also recently announced her exit after 19 seasons and 17 years, leaving an undeniable impact on the series. “Vanderpump Rules” marked its 10th season with record ratings reaching over 11.7 million total viewers to date across all platforms and featured an unprecedented series first as cameras picked up after a scandal rocked the friend group and jolted the zeitgeist.
