NEW YORK, NY – (November 28, 2017) - NBC 4 New York / WNBC’s November 23, 2017 broadcast of the 91st Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade generated a 14.1 rating among Adults 25 to 54 within the New York market, according to Nielsen. This was the highest Parade rating since 2004, and reflects a year-over-year increase of 27%. Additionally, the Parade generated 30,000 views on NBC 4 New York’s digital platforms.

“NBC’s excellent coverage of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has grown to new heights, both on air, and on-line. We are thrilled that so many viewers made NBC 4 New York part of their Thanksgiving Day tradition,” said Eric Lerner, President and General Manager of NBC 4 New York.

WNBC will provide exclusive coverage of the 2017 Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting this Wednesday, November 29 starting at 7:00 PM ET (check local listings). In 2018, NBC 4 New York will also provide exclusive coverage of Super Bowl LII on Sunday, February 4, and the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games, starting Thursday, February 8.
