Vonn Highlights This Week’s Alpine Skiing World Cup Coverage, Continuing Today at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN

STAMFORD, Conn. – January 30, 2018 – With less than two weeks to go until the start of the XXIII Olympic Winter Games from PyeongChang, South Korea, NBC Sports Group will present more than 35 hours of Olympic winter sports coverage this week across NBC, NBCSN, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, OlympicChannel.com, and the Olympic Channel app, highlighted by live FIS alpine skiing World Cup coverage from Stockholm, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

FIS ALPINE SKIING WORLD CUP

The alpine skiing World Cup season continues with the city event, a non-Olympic discipline, today in Stockholm, followed by the final races before the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. 2010 Olympic downhill gold medalist Lindsey Vonn, who won the downhill in Cortina on January 20, is expected to headline the women’s field.

Steve Schlanger (play-by-play) and 2010 Olympian Will Brandenburg will handle the call for this weekend’s events.
