Comcast Executive Kavita Vazirani Hired To Lead New Advertising Sales Research Group Across All Partnerships And Platforms
NEW YORK, September 5, 2017 – NBCUniversal today announced the creation of a new, unified research group focused on aligning all of NBCUniversal’s sales research, insights and data capabilities across every platform and partnership the company offers. The group will be led by Kavita Vazirani in the newly-created role of Executive Vice President, Strategic Insights and Analytics, NBCUniversal.

Vazirani will oversee a team of research leaders dedicated to supporting NBCUniversal’s Client Partnerships initiatives, audience analytics across its entire linear and digital TV portfolio, measuring its clients’ data-enabled Audience Studio campaigns as well as advertising initiatives across the company’s strategic partnerships and capabilities. Additionally, the team will oversee custom research projects with marketing and agency partners to quantify media impact beyond traditional viewing patterns. As part of this role, Vazirani will engage new partners in the research field to further NBCUniversal’s commitment to cross-platform measurement solutions.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal, since 1997, Vazirani held a variety of senior roles at Comcast Cable Corporation in Media Research and Science. Most recently she served as Senior Vice President of Media Strategy and Media Sciences where directed the development and buying of media in excess of $1.5 billion with a focus on measuring ROI through econometric modeling and direct response measurement techniques. Vazirani has been recognized as an Advertising Working Mother of the Year and by Comcast’s Women in Leadership Wharton program. She is a graduate of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute and serves on the IAB Video Leadership Board.
