Xiomara Wiley, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Sales for Universal Studios Hollywood, is responsible for driving attendance and branding for the entertainment landmark visited by millions of tourists and residents each year. Her team leads sales and marketing for Universal Studios Hollywood theme park and Universal CityWalk shopping, dining and entertainment complex located in Universal City, California.
Since joining the company in 2009, Ms. Wiley led the sales and marketing for critically acclaimed theme park attraction launches including the world’s largest 3D experience, King Kong 360 3D, the state of the art multimedia and special effects theme park ride, Transformers the Ride 3D, and the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride which opened last year. Prior to joining Universal Studios Hollywood, Ms. Wiley worked for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts in various marketing leadership roles for Disneyland in California, Hong Kong Disneyland and Walt Disney World in Florida. She began her career in the consumer products industry working for Procter & Gamble and Clairol.
Ms. Wiley holds a Masters of Management degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelors of Arts degree from Princeton. She resides in Long Beach, California with her husband and four children. Ms. Wiley was named “2010 Advertising Working Mother of the Year” by Working Mother Magazine in the Trailblazer category, celebrating women who are paving the way for working mothers. She was also recognized as one of the “Top 100 executives in Marketing and Advertising” by Black Enterprise Magazine in 2011 and 2013.
