Why We Give: Annual United Way Campaign

Comcast NBCUniversal has kicked off our annual Employee Giving Campaign in support of United Way, one of the company’s longest-standing community partners. Our history with United Way began shortly after Comcast’s founder, Ralph Roberts, made a strategic decision to support organizations that help the local communities we serve.

 

United Way makes a positive difference in over 1,800 communities around the world by providing health and education programs, and vital services. Last year, our incredibly generous employees pledged $8 million to United Way and the thousands of local organizations that United Way supports across the country. Together, the power of our collective impact is helping improve the lives of our neighbors, friends, and even some of our Comcast NBCUniversal colleagues, like Heidi, Andrea, and Aaron.

 

Through our longstanding partnership with the United Way, Comcast NBCUniversal has provided more than $77 million in total support. 

 

The campaign began Monday, October 10 and runs through Friday, October 21.
