Green is Universal and the Arbor Day Foundation teamed up again for their annual Share a Tree initiative. This holiday season, consumers could create photo e-cards by visiting greenisuniversal.com or facebook.com/greenisuniversal, uploading a photo or using one from their Facebook account, and sharing it via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, or email.
For each holiday photo card created, shared, or liked; each tweet sent using #ShareATree; and each “TREE” text sent to 436287, the Arbor Day Foundation will plant a tree, up to 1 million.
By December 24, the goal was hit. And by the end of 2014, the Arbor Day Foundation will have planted 1 million trees in national and state forests across the country.
